The New Craze........The Jerk

I 've been going crazy after hearing this song called "You're a Jerk" and then I've heard there was a dance to this song, so of course I went to youtube, a long and behold the dance called the jerk. This dance is came straight out of Cali (California for short), the dance is part of , no no let change that.....it is the Jerkin movement. The movement is a urban youth sub-culture which consists of hyphy beats, skinny jeans, knee bends, backwards Running Man moves and having a “geeked up/skateboard” swagga. The ones who really staed this crazy movement would be the one and only New Boyz, who have a skater boi/ cool kid on the block type of swagg. The I must admit will stick in your head for days because of the crazy beats and the constent repeating of "You're a Jerk " in the background. Thinking about this movement made me to come up to think what will be next.... I mean who will be the person in line to cause a great dance movement or either a teen movement, We probably won't find out until next month lol. But i think this dance/movement is going be around for a long time!!!The video below shows the dance at its best.

The New Style......

OK heres the deal about the style thats going around in the teen/ young adult culture. The trend that I and other people have been weairng is suspenders..... I know they're kind of dorky (made popular by the famous nerd Steve Urkel) but I think they're sick. I mean they really can make something you wear stand out. They come in a range of colors, styles (which are clip on or button on), and patterns. They usually cost around $15 to $20 dollar depending on what type you bought. You can buy them at Hot Topic, Spencers, and some men's tuxedo places. So look around you might find somebody wearing them at your school, but be aware because people love to snap them when you're not paying attention!

Yeeeeeaaaaaah I know studded belts are really popular in the punk rock/ emo/skateboard culture, but all of a sudden they're making a landslide into the hip hop culture. I have started seeing them on such artisr as Lil' Wayne, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and many others. I recently have gotten into the vibe of them because of the different styles they're coming out with now a days. I'm noticing that the studs of the belts are varying in color and pattern. What I mean by that is the belt can have different colors of studs or leather, whether you can put belt buckles on the belt, the type of studs the belt uses whether its pyramid studs or spike studs. But either way these belts are sick. So don't think the belt is just for the punk rock or emo culture , you can wear them and put your swagg on them, which this blog is all about.

This little gadget to the left is a cellphone and its the heart of the teenage commmuntiy. It holds teenager loveones and friends numbers but it also holds the key to the world around us. For us teenagers, we probably could not live with out this device. But anyways this phone is one of the few new phones that are coming out this year. Its called the HTC Touch Pro2. Its a 3G window mobile 6.1 smatr phone with many different features which are TouchFLO 3D navigation, handwriting recognition, touch sensitive zoom bar, microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth, HSDPA data, 3.15 megapixel camera, Pocket Office, GPS and Wifi.So we definitely have to keep a look out for this phone. So we might be able to purchase this in the near future, so lets keep our hopes up.

All About Social- Networking

Woooooooowwwwwww, Myspace has made it big in the last few years or should I say six years. Since its debut in 2003, myspace has over two hundred million members with 230,00 new users getting added each day. The site had over 12 billion views since october 2005. The site hosts an inventive way of advertising media and music artists to their audience of young teens and adults with a good amount of income. The whole site alone is worth about 6 billion dollars(thats alot of dinero). The thing I love about myspace is that you can personalize your page by adding a background, music, and other posts. Like say for me I added Nike Dunks, Adidas, and Air Force ones on my posts because I love tennis shoes. Also you get to add interesting facts about youself that people might be interested in. So go log on, and add yourself a friend, and if you don't have one, what are you waiting for???!!! Go make one and enjoy yourself!

The Nintendo Wii has been a big hit ever since this has came out on November 19 2006. It was on every kids, teens, and even adults christmas lists. The thing about this system is that its motion sensitive. When you first buy it, it comes supplied with a remote, a nun-chuk, and a game called Wii sports. You can buy the game system at almost any where, like Best Buy, Target, and Wal- mart. The price for this sick piece of technology is about $249.99 and sometimes you can buy them in a bundle which will cost you more. The extra equuipment that doesnt come with, like say for instance a second remote and nun-chuk will cost you about $19.99 a piece. So look around and go buy one at one of your local super stores, it will be worth your while!!!!
